Now that 2018 is upon us it is time for those New Year’s resolutions.
We all know how hard it can be to stay committed to your New Year’s resolutions. Whether it it to lose weight, exercise more, stop drinking we all start out with the best intentions but most of us will fail.
But this can be our year to succeed and changes our lives, health and happiness for the better. I recently saw Star Wars The Last Jedi and one of the main characters has a quote that really resonates with me it is
Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.
So I challenge all of us to kill the bad habits we have held on to by letting go of the past. So what if you’ve tried to lose those 20 pounds countless times in the past and couldn’t seem to do it. This time can be different and you can succeed if you focus and attack your goal/resolution with purpose and expectancy. Let go of your past failures. Stop beating yourself up, kill your bad habits and move forward to the future that you have always wanted and deserve.
Expect that you can achieve your goal. Oh yeah and drink more water! That’s a resolution all of us should keep!
